Casting Teen Boys for Paid Short Film "Buddies"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking two boys ages 13-15 for a short film "Buddies". See the details below. Rate: Union (Non-Union members welcome to submit). $100/day honorarium. Overtime paid at 35% of the ACTRA IPA, if incurred. Additional information: Location: Vancouver Locals Only. 4 shoot days total - January 8 to 11, 2026. Sharp, charismatic, and a little rebellious. He’s the kind of kid things have always come easily to, which makes the idea of failure terrifying to him. His closest bond is with Lucas, his partner-in-crime and sounding board. In Aiden’s mind, it’s the two of them against the world. Required for 4 days. Notes: Experience skiing or snowboarding is ideal but not mandatory. A sample clip demonstrating skiing/snowboarding ability is ideal if available.
Thoughtful, quiet, and emotionally mature beyond his years. Lucas is gentle and observant, someone who tends to hang back, except when he’s with Aiden. Around him, Lucas loosens up, jokes more, trusts more. Their friendship is where he feels most seen and most himself. Required for 4 days.
