Child Acting Audition for "Chameleon" Short Film

Casting Opportunity for a 6-13-year-old young male actor for "Chameleon" See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: When a young family visits James’ small store, he must navigate opposing worlds uncovering his family’s dark past. Rate: Compensation: Copy, meals, and credit. Please note that this is a low-budget production serving as a proof-of-concept for a larger-scale project with the same team in the near future. Chameleon is intended as an educational and collaborative experience for the production team, crew, and cast, culminating in a finished piece to be shared at small local screenings. Transportation: Talent must be able to self-report to set in San Francisco. Production may be able to cover transportation expenses. Housing is not provided. Additional info: Shoot Dates: TBD 1-2 days in late January-early February Shoot Location: San Francisco, CA Rehearsals: 1 day of rehearsal either in person or on Zoom. 1 additional rehearsal for the role of James. A Note On Subject Material: This film depicts moments of organized crime, violence, and implied murder. There will be a rehearsal process and qualified Fight/Stunt Coordinator will be present to choreograph and guide the action in rehearsal and on set. The roles of JENNY & NICK will NOT be involved in these scenes nor will the actors be present on set when these moments are rehearsed and shot.
