About the project: Beetlejuice Jr. is the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing spectre shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium. Additionla info: Audition Information: Prepare 16-32 bars (1-2 minutes) of a musical theater song that best demonstrates your singing ability. Bring your sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. There will be a short dance taught at auditions; no prepared dance is required. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to dance in. Come prepared to have your headshot taken the night you audition. There is a cast fee. Fill out the online audition form linked below. Every person auditioning needs to complete this form.
