About the project: TURN is an original romantic musical dramedy blending classic Broadway flair with modern energy. It’s about love, showbiz, family, and the messy twists of life. This will be the original Off Off Off Broadway cast. Additional info: Show Dates: Last week of May and first week of June Rehearsals: Begin in spring (schedule based on cast availability) What to Expect at Auditions Short group warm-up to get everyone moving Simple choreography taught on the spot to see energy and movement Vocal auditions: Bring 16–32 bars of a song of your choice, preferably from the show — reach out to Angelo Valentino to get music if possible You can sing a acapella or with backing tracks from the show; there will not be a live accompanist You can also sing from a section of the show that we’ll teach at auditions Sides (short scenes) will be available for anyone who wants to read What to Bring Comfortable clothes for moving Water Song from the show or your own choice (optional if you want to try the show material) Positive attitude and willingness to try new things.
