About the project: It's 1962 in Baltimore, and lovable teen, Tracy Turnblad, has only one desire – to dance on the popular "Corny Collins Show." When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network... all without denting her 'do! Additional info: Please prepare two contrasting 16-bar cuts of contemporary musical theatre songs. Songs from the show are not discouraged. Please bring sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist. Please bring a current headshot and resume as well as a signed copy of the Application for Minors in Performance form linked below. All actors must attend the Dance Call on Thursday, January 8, 2026, to be considered for casting unless specifically told not to attend by the producer.
