Young Talent Wanted for Musical "The Secret Garden"
Seeking kids ages 10 and up for the Musical "The Secret Garden". Please see the details below. About the project: Orphaned Mary Lennox, a sour, neglected girl from India, is sent to live at her uncle's gloomy Yorkshire estate, Misselthwaite Manor, where she discovers a locked, forgotten walled garden. With help from local boy Dickon and her bedridden, selfish cousin Colin (her uncle's son), Mary brings the garden back to life, and in the process, they all find healing, friendship, and transformation, overcoming their own isolation and unhappiness. Additional info: Auditioners should prepare to sing a song that shows off their voice and acting ability. Please bring piano sheet music for the accompanist. In addition, there will be readings from the script and a dance audition taught by the choreographer. As always, backstage and technical crews are needed.
