Teen Audition For "The Book of Will" Production
Teen auditions for "The Book of Will" – see details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In the wake of Shakespeare’s death, his devoted friends and fellow actors set out on a nearly impossible mission: collect his scattered plays and publish them in a folio that half the country cannot read and the other half cannot afford! Without their passion, perseverance, and grit, the Bard’s greatest works would have vanished forever. Brimming with humor, heart, and theatrical history, The Book of Will is a joyful and moving tribute to friendship, legacy, and the enduring magic of the stage. This historical and hysterical work was lovingly penned by Lauren Gunderson, America’s most produced playwright. Additional info: Auditionees may bring a short, one-minute monologue of their choosing, but it is not required. Auditions will largely consist of readings from the script. Auditionees should sign up for a 75-minute time slot during which they will be asked to do readings of scenes and monologues as often as time allows. Rehearsals will begin in early March Tech Week will be April 4th-April 8th Show Dates: April 9th-19th (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) If you are interested please apply.
