"Seussical: The Musical" Needs Boys and Girls

Looking for talented students in grades 4-8 who live in Evergreen Park to join the cast of the show, "Seussical: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. Additional info: Rehearsals will take place on Sundays from 4-6 p.m. through February 1st, and on February 8th from 4-7 p.m. Additionally, rehearsals will be held daily during the week of February 15th. Please list any possible conflicts with this schedule here. NOTE: All cast members must attend all rehearsals during the week of February 15th - no exceptions.
