Girl Needed for "Murder on the Orient Express" Play
Looking for a 4-7-year-old girl for "Murder on the Orient Express" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Follow Agatha Christie’s world-famous detective Hercule Poirot as he embarks on a luxurious train journey—only to find himself entangled in an edge-of-your-seat murder mystery when a passenger is found dead in the night. Additional info: In the audition, your child will be asked to: Tell directors a little bit about themself. (Directors will ask questions. Just want to get to know them.) Walk across the room, stop on a specific mark on the floor, and hold the reader’s hand. (Note: Directors will obtain their consent before this happens.) Perform the Side attached with a reader. This is the first scene, which will be filmed. Rehearsals begin December 30th, 2025. Performances begin January 21st, 2026, and close March 1st, 2026, with 6 - 7 performances per week: Wed. through Sat. at 7:30 pm and Sat. and Sun. at 2:30 pm. Subject to change, but Daisy will be called to 2 rehearsals (1/6/26, 1/13/26) and one technical rehearsal (1/20/26). The audition form is also attached; please complete it before the auditions. Daughter of the Colonel and Mrs. Armstrong. A sweet, carefree child who appears in the first scene of the show, which is filmed and has dialogue, and onstage in the final moment of the show. Should be confident and able to walk onstage independently. Her tragic kidnapping and death set in motion the events of the play, and her appearance at the end deepens the emotional impact of the story.. Casting 2-3 children to rotate performances.
