About the project: Experience the vibrant, colorful world of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the smash-hit musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice! This dazzling retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, his coat of many colors, and his journey from dreamer to hero is a high-energy celebration of music, hope, and forgiveness. Follow Joseph, his jealous brothers, and his adventures through betrayal, hardship, and triumph in a show filled with toe-tapping songs in a variety of styles—from catchy pop to rock 'n' roll, calypso, and even a bit of country-western! Bursting with humor, heart, and a kaleidoscope of color, this beloved musical is perfect for the entire family. Additional info: Please prepare a 30-60 second, memorized musical selection in the style of the show. An accompanist will be available so please provide your own sheet music in the correct key. Acapella auditions are strongly discouraged. There will be a general dance audition so please have comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear (you should prepare the provided dance combination(s) in advance of your audition).
