Seeking Kids for "Shrek The Musical JR."

Kindergarten through 6th Grade students are needed for "Shrek The Musical JR." Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions, has cast off. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. Additional info: Those auditioning are asked to prepare one minute of a song that is in the style of "Shrek The Musical JR." Please bring an accompaniment track or instrumental track with you, as a speaker will be provided for you to play it off of. If you have any accents similar to those of any Shrek character, the directors kindly ask that you come prepared to share them as well. Rehearsals will tentatively begin with a read-through on January 12th, and rehearsals will begin the next night.
