Singing Audition for Musical "All Shook Up"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking boys and girls ages 14+ for musical "All Shook Up". More details are below. Additional information: Callbacks on December 14th. Performances are March 13th - 15th & 20th - 22nd. Audition Requirements: Please prepare a 32-bar cut of an up-tempo, modern Broadway selection. Following your vocal selection a cold read will be required. A dance call will take place on the day of your audition. The 20-minute block will either be before or after you sing and read. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes to move. There will be a basic movement combination for all participants and a more advanced dance combination for those wishing to be considered for lead roles or the dance corps. (C4-Eb5) Plays 16 – Sylvia’s 16-year-old daughter. Lorraine wants love and adventure and is getting tired of her mother’s apparently narrow view. Dance Skills an asset.
(D3-Bb4) Matilda’s 16-year-old son. He has grown up at a military boarding school. Dean is rather sheltered and has been protected from the world by his staunch mother. Dance skills an asset.
Ensemble performers with enhanced dancing skills who will be featured in the heavier dance breaks as well as the ensemble numbers. Aiming to cast equal vocal parts across the group. Must audition with both dance combos to be considered for this corps.
