"Mr. Toad's Mad Adventures" Play Searching For Kids

About the project: In this enchanting adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s "The Wind in the Willows," Toad of Toad Hall is an eccentric but likable chap whose latest craze is motorcars. Unfortunately, he gets into a lot of trouble when he steals one for a wild ride over the countryside! His dear friends Badger, Rat, and Mole do their best to help, but Toad ends up in prison... after an uproarious courtroom scene. Meanwhile, his enemies, the weasels, quickly take over Toad Hall and trash the place. Toad's wild adventures continue when the jailer's daughter & a barge owner help him escape disguised as a washerwoman so he and his friends can enact a clever scheme to recapture Toad Hall from the weasels. Additional info: Audition requirements: Prepare a memorized monologue of your choice, about 1 minute long, that shows your acting ability First rehearsal & mandatory parents' meeting: Tuesday, December 9, 4:30-6:30 Rehearsal schedule: Tuesdays & Fridays 4:30-6:30. No rehearsals December 19-January 1, Winter Break.
