Girl Needed for "Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van" Show

About the project: A play that shines a light on those who aren’t the stars, but just as important, the crew. Due to a lack of wing space, the crew and cast of the Neighborhood Actors Summerfun Repertory Theatre spend their downtime in the parking lot around an aging hippie/now turned techie's van. Those looking for refuge at the asphalt oasis include: a stressed-out artistic director grappling for funding, a wanna-be diva who's realizing her ingenue expiration date has just about passed, a board member's nephew vying to direct the musicals with a Tarantino spin and the "I'm no chorus boy" chorus boy who thinks every show should have a kick line - including Glass Menagerie. These are just some of the egos and obstacles that fall into the lap of Mike, a nice-guy director who ends up with far more than he bargained for. Anyone who's ever seen a show may know these people. Anyone who's ever done a show may be these people. In the end, Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van continues to prove the old adage that somehow, some way, the show must go on. And it does...just not always as planned. Additional info: Please bring a recent photo to the audition, no larger than 4 x 6. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Once registered, auditioners will be sent sides to prepare, but they do not need to memorize them. Sides will be emailed after registration closes on Monday, November 3rd. Callbacks by invitation only, Saturday, November 8th. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, and callbacks will begin at 3:30. Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. The rehearsal days for this production will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 6:30-9:00 pm; exceptions include the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s, when rehearsals will be on Sunday and Monday. Dress Rehearsals/Performance Dates: Performances will be held in the VACT Theater at 103 Lincoln Street, Verona, on Thursday, February 12th and 19th at 7:30 pm, Friday, February 13th and 20th at 7:30 pm, Saturday, February 14th and Saturday, February 21st at 2:00 and 7:30 pm. Dress rehearsals will be held on February 9th and 11th, with a possible soft dress on February 7th. Actors wishing to audition for this production must be available for all dress rehearsals and performances - no exceptions.
