Talent in grades 8-12 are welcome to audition for "Mean Girls JR.". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: What to Prepare for Auditions: Please come prepared with: A song prepared from the audition selections above (vocal audition cuts will be selected) Be prepared to read from the script. The clueless transfer student who gets caught up in brutal social politics. Though levelheaded, self-assured, and kind at her core, she becomes unrecognizable when going undercover with the Plastics. This is a demanding lead role requiring strong vocals and acting range.Vocal Range: G2 - E5
The undisputed Queen Bee of North Shore High School. Confident, clever, and completely unbothered by others' opinions. While she manipulates everyone around her, she's ultimately trying to fit in like everyone else. Requires a strong actress with commanding stage presence.Vocal Range: Ab3 - Eb5
The high school heartthrob who doesn't realize his status. A genuinely nice guy who dislikes drama but gets caught between Cady and Regina. Must be charming and likeable.Vocal Range: B3 - E5
Cady's homeroom and calculus teacher who oversees the Mathletes. Jaded and sarcastic but sees the real Cady and encourages her authenticity. Strong character role.
Regina's stressed-out second-in-command. Cares deeply about others' opinions and is especially paranoid about Regina. Takes the Plastics very seriously until Cady's influence. Requires strong comedic and dramatic acting.Vocal Range: G2 - E5
The third Plastic. While her lack of intelligence is a running joke, she sees the other girls more clearly than most and is the most laid back of the trio. Excellent comedic role.Vocal Range: G2 - D#5
