Actors wanted for the production of "Shakespeare in Love". You must be at least 16 years old to audition, with the exception of the role of John Webster in Shakespeare in Love. For this role, we will be accepting applications from performers aged 13+ with parental consent. See more info below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: You may audition for more than one character, but you will only work with a single side during your audition. Your audition will be a private session with our Artistic Director and other members of the Production Teams. Your audition will take approximately 10 minutes and will be at a pre-arranged time. Please note that directors will be asking you for your conflicts later in the process - listing them is no longer part of the initial audition process. Material: Please prepare ONE side AND the Monologue (see attachments). You will be asked to perform the material first and then work on a section of it with Artistic Director within your audition slot. You do not need to learn the material, although feel free to do so if you wish. A reader will be provided to read the scene with you. Rehearsal (Principals): March 16 - June 6. Rehearsal (Supporting Roles): April 13 - June 6. Tech: June 7 - 10. Performances: June 11 - 20 (not 15 or 16). Strike: June 21. If you are interested, please apply.
