Only a lonely boy would know. Yet even lost in the city the boy is not alone. There are young lovers and shadows, voices and creatures, and something magical too. Loved by his mother and by no one else, “The Boy Who Sang to the Moon” is a story of a lonely boy and the song that comes from the deepest of breaths. Additional info: Come prepared with a track to sing along with and ready to do readings from the script. Music choices should be similar to (but not necessarily from) : Hadestown, Come From Away, Once on This Island, Once, or a 70's story telling song. The music is described as folk with a musical theatre sound. When in doubt just come prepared with your best audition piece and you'll be great!
