Casting Call for Kids Voice in "A Christmas Carol" Radio Play

About the project: “A Christmas Carol” is Charles Dickens’ classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser in 19th century London who is visited by the ghosts of his former business partner and three spirits that through the magic of Christmas, transform Scrooge into a kinder man. This production will be based on the Campbell Playhouse radio show production from December 23, 1938 that was produced by the great Orson Welles. Additional info: December 12-14 with shows at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday as well as 2 matinees – Saturday at 2:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM. With a staged reading “radio show” no memorization is required. Actors will use scripts on stage to recreate a radio station feel in the late 1930’s. No prior acting experience is required. No special preparation is required and auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at the theater.
