About the project: "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is a story about the six unruly Herdman siblings who take over their town's annual Christmas pageant after hearing there will be free snacks. The mischievous children, considered "the worst kids in the history of the world," are given the lead roles by the new director, Grace Bradley, to the horror of the rest of the church community. Ultimately, the Herdmans' unconventional and genuine approach to the Christmas story teaches the town the true meaning of the holiday, leading to a surprisingly moving and successful pageant.
