"The Snow Queen" Show Needs Kids and Teens

Looking for talent ages eight and up for "The Snow Queen" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Skillfully adapted by Ron Nicol from the famous original story by Hans Christian Andersen, this is the story of Gerda, a little girl who searches for her friend Kai when he is bewitched and imprisoned by the Snow Queen in her ice palace. Gerda’s innocence charms all good people and animals she meets on the way. They help her to the royal court, and on to Lapland, where good conquers evil and the children are reunited. Additional info: Directors will provide script excerpts for actors to look over in the lobby, and then they will read the scene with you. Shows: December 5, 6, 11, and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and December 7, 13, and 14 at 2:30 p.m. Tech: November 30 and December 1, 2, and 3 Rehearsals: On Thursday, October 23, the full cast will read through from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.; the rehearsal schedule will follow.
