Seeking Teens for "Giant: The Musical"

Seeking performers ages 16 and up for "Giant: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the classic book by Edna Ferber, and inspired by the movie filmed in Marfa; Giant takes place on the sprawling ranch Reata, and follows the Benedict family as they navigate the literal and figurative changing landscape of West Texas and Oil Fields run side-by-side with ranchland, and cultures intertwine. Additional info: On the day of the audition, all auditionees will be provided with an audition side. Scenes may be read opposite a member of the casting committee; the committee member will read from the production table, while the auditionee has free use of the rehearsal space. Please be prepared, but you may familiarize yourself with all roles you are interested in and be asked to read a second. Callbacks will be held on November 4th upon request. Rehearsals at MCT will begin on Monday, November 17th, at 7 PM for the Company Meeting. Performances will be in Davis I from January 30th - March 7th/8th, 2026 If interested, please apply by October 30th at 5:00 p.m.
