"One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall" Show Needs Teens
Seeking ages 16 and up for "One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: In 10 scenes, this play follows several intertwined stories in a Midwestern mall on the last day of shopping before Christmas. A diverse cast of characters—from a lovesick mall Santa to an overeager mall cop, from a pair of brainy misfit teenagers to a pair of battling actors in a production of A Christmas Carol, from a petulant college freshman to a pair of newlyweds—navigate first meetings, second chances, and last-minute choices. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. There is no need to prepare anything in advance. Just show up ready to have fun! Performances will be held Dec. 12-14 at the Franklin Middle School cafeteria on Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings in Franklin. Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal. All actors should be available every evening during tech week (the week leading up to performances.) If interested, please apply.
