Levelheaded and fiercely protective, Scarlett has carried the burden of shielding her younger brother since childhood. Calm under pressure but weighed down by responsibility, she’ll sacrifice everything to keep him safe.
Sensitive and unguarded, Sawyer is still haunted by the trauma of their childhood. Desperate to protect himself, he makes a choice that leads to violence and binds him to his sister’s protection.
Mature beyond her years, Scarlett shoulders the unspoken role of protector. Cautious and observant, she looks out for her younger brother even when she longs to just be a child herself.
Sensitive and unguarded, Sawyer depends on his sister’s protection and struggles to make sense of the cruelty around him.
