"Scrooge The Musical" Needs Kids and Teens
Kids ages 7 and up are invited to audition for "Scrooge The Musical". Please see the details below. About the project: Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience on Christmas Eve after being visited by the ghost of his former partner and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. An ECCT favorite, this timeless holiday musical was the first show produced by the newly formed Eau Claire Children's Theatre in November 1989. Additional info: Prepare a 30-60 second cut from any Broadway or holiday song. Bring your accompaniment on a device- phone, ipad, laptop, etc. If you are interested in being part of the lobby caroling group before each show, prepare a holiday song. Can be done with no accompaniment. There will be no dance audition. REHEARSALS: Generally 2-3 nights per week, Monday through Thursday, from 7pm to 9:30pm, from October 9 to December 11, with a few weekend dance rehearsals. The lobby caroling group will have a lighter schedule. SHOWS: 6 public performances at The Oxford, December 12-14 and 19-21. If interested, please apply.
