Additional info: “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is the finale to the Oswego Players’ event-filled 2025 season. This delightful play, based on the children’s novel by Barbara Robinson, is a Christmas classic, beloved by audiences wherever it is performed. In the play, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. Audiences won't believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas! Along with plenty of great roles for children and adults, the show features several favorite Christmas carols and lots of laughs.
