Seeking Kids and Teens for Dance Tryouts "The Nutcracker" Ballet

Seeking dancers ages 4 and up for "The Nutcracker" Ballet. Please see the details below. About the project: The Nutcracker ballet follows the Christmas Eve adventures of a young girl named Clara, who receives a special Nutcracker doll from her godfather, Drosselmeyer. As the clock strikes midnight, Clara finds herself in a magical world where her Nutcracker doll comes to life and leads an army of toy soldiers against the Mouse King and his army. After the battle, the Nutcracker is transformed into a Prince, and they journey to the Kingdom of Sweets, where they are welcomed by the Sugar Plum Fairy before Clara awakens, unsure if her magical adventure was a dream. Additional info: This year’s performances will be held at the iconic Westport Country Playhouse on Saturday, December 6th.
