Child Actors Needed for Movie Casting
Seeking kids, ages 9–16, to portray choir members (both individual kids and small ensembles) in the feature film Scary Movie. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. RATE (IF HIRED) Minor Background Rate: $18.75/hour ($150 guaranteed for 8 hours. Overtime paid after 8 hours at time and a half.) Additional info: Thursday, 10/09/2025 Must be available for a 10 hour filming day on set. Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Kids must be comfortable mouthing along to commonly known hymns (such as “This Little Light of Mine”). They will not be singing out loud and do not need to be formally trained. Talent should be engaging, able to clap, sway, and follow direction in a group setting.
• Casting a small ensemble of 7 kids, ages 9–16 to appear together as a choir group. Kids must be comfortable mouthing hymns, clapping, swaying, and performing as part of a group. This role is ideal for existing youth choir members who are comfortable working together. Note: Each child in the ensemble must still submit individually.
