About the project: In 1970, renowned writer/composer/lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted Charles Dickens’ tale A Christmas Carol into a hit screen musical Scrooge, and in 1992 he adapted it into a full-scale stage musical. Keeping the original songs, including the Academy Award nominated “Thank You Very Much”, this rousing stage version includes six new songs. Scrooge! The Musical tells the timeless story of redemption and love. Additional info: Preparation: - Prepare and bring 32 bars (about 1 minute and 30 seconds) of a song that showcases your vocal range and storytelling ability. - Be prepared for cold readings from the script. - Comfortable clothing to perform some simple movements taught by our choreographer. - Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday October 1, 2025.
