Singing Audition for "Ebenezer Scrooge" Show

Looking for kids ages 8 and up for the "Ebenezer Scrooge" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: For the 43rd year, the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future will converge in North Texas' longest-running and highest-acclaimed dinner theatre. This adaptation of a Christmas Carol brings Dickens' narrative to vivid life as Ebenezer Scrooge's journeys with the spirits of Christmas on one magical Christmas Eve. Rate: Actors will be paid a stipend. Additional info: Prepare a musical theater piece showing your range. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring printed sheet music in the correct key, with no transpositions. Prerecorded accompaniment may also be used if you prefer. NOTE: Young actors (ages up to 12) may bring a short monologue, poem, or story, no longer than 2-3 minutes, to recite and simply sing a children's song (i.e., Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) Rehearsals begin in early October, with exact dates to be determined. Most rehearsals are on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday evenings. Rarely will each of the times happen in one week.
