Kids Audition for a Short Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking kids ages 8-12 for a short film. More details are below. Abput the project: Synopsis: Angela is in 3rd grade at Henderson Elementary School. Despite her efforts to make her own friends, her autistic older brother Buddy always seems to take center stage in her life. Due to issues with Buddy’s behavior, Angela learns that her mother is sending her and her brother to a new school. Doing everything in her power to stay at Henderson, Angela decides to prove a point to her mother by taking a journey through the city after school to get home all by herself. Rate: This is for a proof of concept, so initially it will be unpaid. The short film is projected to go into production in 2026 and actors will be paid at this time. Open to union/non-union. Addiitional information: Shooting in Toronto or Montreal. When applying, please submit resumes and demo reels.
