"Schoolhouse Rock Jr." Auditions are open to all SCH students, K-12. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is the basis for one of the most fun musicals ever to hit the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. This revue-like show is an energetic musical which follows a young schoolteacher, who is nervous about their first day of teaching. Various characters, representing different parts of the teacher’s personality, encourage him/her to win the students over with lessons filled with imagination and music. Memorable songs like "I’m Just a Bill," "Conjunction Junction" and “Inter-planet Janet” bring the lesson plans vividly to life. Additional info: Performances are Friday, Oct 10 at 7 pm, Saturday, Oct 11 at 7 pm, and Sunday, Oct 12 at 2 pm. Rehearsals will be at Morton High School - enter and exit at door F. Students should be in good standing at their school with both attendance, grades, and behavior. Note: There is a production fee applied that is due 3 weeks before the first show.
