Child Auditions for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe"
Kids and teens are welcome to audition for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: This dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic work faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life. Additional info: This show also contains an ensemble of non-speaking roles which create the inhabitants of Narnia. They will also be participating in the Lion's and Witch's armies in choreographed fights. Audition material will be provided for you. Helpers are available for those who need help reading. You may leave as soon as you read unless you are asked to read again. Directors try to give everyone an equal amount of time so you can expect to have some wait time – they encourage all to bring a book/homework! First-timers and experienced performers all receive the same consideration. Performances: October 17, 18 & 19. If interested, please apply.
