"Oliver" Show Needs Child Actors

Seeking talents going into second grade and older for the "Oliver" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family. Additional info: Plan to arrive a few minutes before your timeslot in order to fill out an audition form. -Resumes and headshots are encouraged but not required. -Please bring a list of all potential rehearsal conflicts from September 14th through November 15th. Dance auditions for each group will take place after the last person of each group sings. All tech rehearsals and performances from November 16th through November 23rd are mandatory. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show and bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided, or an accompaniment track may also be used. A The Bluetooth speaker will be available. A cappella singing is discouraged. A short dance combination will be taught. Please wear or bring clothing that allows for movement. Cold readings, vocalization, or sight singing from the score may be incorporated into initial auditions.
