"It's A Wonderful Life: The Musical" Needs Boys and Girls

Talents ages 7 and up are welcome to audition for "It's A Wonderful Life: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the beloved 1946 film, this musical faithfully follows George Bailey’s life from his childhood dreams to his midlife disappointments and beyond, as we all take a journey to discover whether his life has mattered at all. Cinematically scored and theatrically staged, this adaptation breathes musical life into a familiar story, while retaining the warmth, humor, and pathos of the original. A new holiday classic for devotees and newcomers alike. Additional info: What to bring? Prepare 16-32 bars ( a verse and a chorus) of a song either from the show or from a show in a similar style. Please bring an instrumental track to sing with, not a cappella. Directors will have a Bluetooth speaker which you may connect to and use for your audition. They do not have a piano accompanist on hand at auditions. Rehearsals: 9/8 Read Through and Parent Meeting at 6:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 9pm Saturdays from 9am to noon Cast Members may not be needed at all rehearsals. A schedule will be provided after casting. Performance Dates: Fridays, December 12 & 19 at 7:30pm Saturdays, December 13 & 20 at 7:30pm Sundays, December 14 & 21 at 2pm No conflicts during tech rehearsals. 12/6 to 12/11 rehearsals are mandatory.
