Child audition for the show "The Miracle Worker" – see details below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditions will be in the form of a cold reading from the script. Please dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. (No sandals, flip flops, or bare feet) An audition form is required to be filled out upon arrival. A resume and headshot are optional but appreciated. Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday starting with a read-through on Wednesday, August 20th. Most rehearsals will be from 6:30-9:30, however times are TBD. Not all characters will be required to be at every rehearsal. Any child must be accompanied by a parent. TECH WEEK Monday 11/3-Thursday 11-6 no absences, no exceptions. Show dates: Friday 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 Saturday 11/8, 11/15, 11/22 Sunday 2:00 matinee, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23. Is a six-year-old girl who has been left blind and deaf by a childhood illness. She learns to communicate with Annie's help. Very physical role. No lines but very vocal. This role may be double cast due to the nature of the physical demand of the character.
