Singing audition for the play "Alice in Wonderland Jr." – see details below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED About the project: When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts. Alice in Wonderland JR. features Disney favorites such as “The Golden Afternoon,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red” along with brand-new songs, including music from the 2010 live-action film. Whether this is your first experience with Alice or your hundredth, you’ll fall in love all over again with this timeless story of adventure, imagination, and pure fun! Additional info: Callbacks by invitation: Tuesday, September 16 @ 6 pm Performances will take place March 20 - 29, 2026 with school productions during the day on March 24 & 26. Performers must be able to read, take direction, sit quietly, and focus for 2-hour rehearsals. If there are special needs requiring accommodations to help a performer succeed, please let creative team know. Rehearsals are from 4:30-6:30 pm and will start Oct. 20 on Mondays and Wednesdays for the rest of 2025 (excluding holiday weeks). Beginning 2026, rehearsals will be on Mondays-Thursdays with an occasional Saturday. Not all performers will be called for every rehearsal until the directors get into full runs. Performances are March 20-29th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with School Shows on March 24 and March 26. Tech Week is March 16-19. Performers are expected to attend all rehearsals unless conflicts are provided in advance. If you are interested please apply.
