About the project: Annie is a classic Broadway musical with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and book by Thomas Meehan. Based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie, the show is known for its heartwarming message, unforgettable songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” and its celebration of hope and resilience. The disheveled, boozy, and bitter matron of the orphanage. Strong comedic timing, character acting, and vocal skills. Must command the stage with charisma and physicality. Vocal Range: G3–D5
Miss Hannigan’s slick, scheming younger brother. A charming con artist with a dangerous edge. Strong mover with character voice. Vocal Range: B3–G4
Rooster’s flashy, airheaded girlfriend. Showy and comedic, with great chemistry with Rooster. Think ditzy mob moll with flair. Vocal Range: D4–Eb5
The President of the United States. Warm, authoritative, and optimistic. Requires excellent diction and presence.
A fast-talking, charismatic 1930s radio personality. Leads the "Never Fully Dressed" number. Strong tenor and ensemble singer. Vocal Range: B3–G5
Seeking versatile performers to bring a variety of featured and ensemble roles to life. Strong vocal and movement abilities required. Ensemble performers will be featured in dynamic musical numbers and must be comfortable with quick changes and character shifts.
A smart, brave, and optimistic orphan who dreams of finding her parents. Strong belter with excellent acting skills. Must carry the show with confidence, charm, and emotional depth. Vocal Range: A3–E5
The youngest orphan. Sweet, endearing, and often needs comforting. Small but spunky with good comedic timing.
The toughest orphan. Feisty and sarcastic. Often the first to speak up or challenge authority.
The oldest orphan. Confident and mature. Often acts as a big sister to the others.
Quiet, motherly, and gentle. A calming presence in the orphanage.
Always worried. Often cries out, “Oh my goodness!” Needs strong comedic delivery.
A shy orphan who follows the others. Sweet-natured and eager to please.
Additional performers may be cast to join the orphan ensemble. Energetic and expressive. All must sing well and move confidently.
