Child auditions open for the musical production "Something Rotten Jr.". See the details below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: - PLEASE NOTE: The directors are looking for "triple threat" performers. The directors also need a STRONG ensemble to carry the bulk of this show and storytelling. Every role is important to the production!!! - Students must be aged 10-18 years to audition (no one under the age of 10 for this production) - Students will need to prepare 30-60 seconds of a song. You may bring a track on your phone/device to play through our Bluetooth speaker or sing a cappella. - Students will also need to prepare a 30-60 second monologue (memorized speech) from a play, musical, or movie. - A dance routine will also be taught that the groups will perform together. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. CALLBACKS (if needed) will held be on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 @7pm. If you are not called back it does NOT mean you are not cast. Cast list will be finalized by the weekend and announced Monday August 18th, 2025. REHEARSALS will start Thursday, August 21st, 2025. Rehearsals for this production will be mainly on Thurs, Fri from 5pm-8pm, and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. SHOW DATES are the weekends between October 17th-November 1st, 2025.
