Teen Talent Audition in "A Tile on the Street" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking teens ages 16+ for "A Tile on the Street (La baldosa en la calle)" fllm. More details are below. About the project: "A short drama about a young artist who bares witness to the kidnapping of her classmate at the hands of the Argentine military." A period piece based in 70s Buenos Aires, Argentina, set to shoot in East Vancouver, BC. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer project. All actors will receive an IMDB credit, footage, and food on set. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) August 1st-3rd (Tentative). Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver, BC. Stunt coordinators will be on set for specific scenes involving the kidnapping of Pedro's character. This film will be submitted to film festivals once it has been completed. Set to study architecture and follow in his father’s footsteps, he’s incredibly intelligent and loves to be involved in school initiatives and projects but doesn’t flourish in the typical school system. Hates politics but loves the idea of innovation and change. Note: Must speak fluent Spanish and have an Argentinian accent.
Black hair, dark eyes, pale skin. Supporting. A musician at heart and an incredibly smart student, she’s set to study psychology and wants to move away from Buenos Aires. Always in a good mood and wanting to have a good time with her friends. She takes pride in her appearance and won’t allow anyone to fault her for it. Supporting Character. Note: Must speak fluent Spanish and have an Argentinian accent.
Brown hair, dark eyes, tall, lean physique. Supporting. Incredibly smart, set to study engineering with a not-so-secret passion for film and photography. He’s caring and reserved around others, but boisterous with his friends. High levels of perception. Loves Veronica, his girlfriend, and is supportive of her artistic journey. Note: Must speak fluent Spanish and have an Argentinian accent.
Ash brown hair, green eyes, stockier, muscular build. Supporting. The most boisterous and loud of the group, Franco is mildly underestimated by most when it comes to his intellect, as he’s always been known as the sporty, loud jokester. Highly intelligent and set to study engineering. He’ll stop at no one’s expense to crack a joke but cares for his friends deeply. Note: Must speak fluent Spanish and have an Argentinian accent.
