"Ride the Cyclone" is looking for high school-aged actors. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "Ride the Cyclone" is a quirky, darkly comedic musical about six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir who die in a roller coaster accident and find themselves in limbo. A mechanical fortune teller offers them a chance to sing their way back to life, leading to a competition where each teenager performs to prove their worth. The show explores themes of life, death, and what makes a life well-lived. Additional info: Prepare 32 bars of music in the style of the show or from the show. For auditions, we will provide cold reads as well. Rehearsals start August 12- October 15. Shows October 16-19, 2025. Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-9 pm. Note that a fee will be applied.
