Auditions Open for Kid Actors for the Play "The Phantom of the Opera" – See the Details Below! About the project: The Phantom of the Opera House is a melodrama and interactive comedy. This melodrama is loosely based upon Winter’s history. The play includes all the traditional elements of melodrama ( villain, hero, heroine, boos, hisses and cheers from the audience). The story begins in the present and quickly fades into the 1890’s. The action concerns a theatrical family who own the historic Winters Opera House. The plot thickens when a dastardly villain/phantom attempts to create havoc by burning down the Opera House and destroying the reputation of the good family. Additional info: All rehearsal times are 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm uness otherwise noted. Week of Aug 25: Mon (8/25), Tue (8/26), and Wed (8/27) Week of Sept 1: Tue (9/2), Wed (9/3), and Thur (9/4) Week of Sept 8: Mon (9/8), Tue (9/9), and Thur (9/11) Week of Sept 15: Mon (9/15), Tue (9/16), Wed (9/17), and Thur (9/18) Saturday 9/20 10am - 2pm Week of Sept 22: Tue (9/23), Wed (9/24), and Thur (9/25) Sunday 9/28 10am - 2pm Week of Sept 29: Tue (9/30), Wed (10/1), Thur (10/2) Note: The rehearsal schedule is subject to change depending on cast conflicts and other considerations.
