About the project: Break out your leather jackets and dust off your saddle shoes – it’s time to get back to Rydell High! Grease brings the Pink Ladies and T-Birds to life in this action packed, rock-n-roll musical. Featuring hit songs like “Summer Nights”, “Beauty School Drop-Out”, “Greased Lightning”, “Hopelessly Devoted to You”, and “We Go Together”, this beloved musical is a celebration of teen spirit. Grease is still the word! Vocal Range: Varied Cheerleaders, greasers, beauty school dropouts, and more! Making up the environment of Rydell High and beyond, the Ensemble brings energy and excitement to the stage.
Vocal Range: Tenor The leader of the Burger Palace Boys (T-Birds). Strong & confident, with an air of cool, easygoing charm.
Vocal Range: Soprano Danny's love interest. New girl in town. Sweet, wholesome, naïve, cute, like Sandra Dee of the "Gidget" movies.
Vocal Range: Alto Leader of the Pink Ladies. She is tough, sarcastic, outspoken, and vulnerable.
Vocal Range: Alto A typical cheerleader; attractive, athletic, sure-of-herself, but can be given to bursts of disconcerting enthusiasm. She's a bit of a pain and unpopular with the Pink Ladies. Baton skills are a plus, but not a necessity for this role.
Vocal Range: Tenor The "anything-for-a-laugh" type. A clown who enjoys winding people up, he is full of mischief and is always dreaming up half-baked schemes and ideas.
Vocal Range: Alto The "beauty" of the Pink Ladies. Pretty, looks older than the other girls, but betrays her real age when she opens her mouth. Tries to act sophisticated.
Vocal Range: Tenor Youngest of the guys. Boyish, open, with a disarming smile and a hero-worshipping attitude toward the other guys. Guitar skills are a plus, but not a necessity for this role.
Vocal Range: Alto A dreamer. Good-natured and dumb. Heavily made-up, fussy about her appearance- particularly her hair. She can't wait to finish high school so she can be a beautician.
Vocal Range: Tenor Second-in-command of the Burger Palace Boys. Tough-looking, tattooed, surly, avoids any show of softness. Has an off-beat sense of humor.
Vocal Range: Alto Funny, loud, compulsive eater, and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. Loud and pushy with the girls, but shy with boys.
Vocal Range: Baritone A braggart and wheeler-dealer who thinks he's a real lady-killer.
Vocal Range: Tenor The class valedictorian; physically awkward, with weak eyes and a high-pitched voice. He's a typical 'apple-polisher' - both smug and pompous, but gullible.
Vocal Range: Alto The best dancer at St. Bernadette's; a loud mouth, she wins the dancing competition with Danny.
Vocal Range: Tenor All-American, rock-star "greaser" student at Rydell High, whose real name is Clarence.
Vocal Range: Tenor Frenchie's suave and slick guardian angel, who encourages her to stay in school.
