Casting Call for Boys and Girls for Play "Macbeth"
Auditions for William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Open to actors aged approximately 9 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue from a Shakespeare show of your choosing. Memorization is not required. Be prepared to read from the script. If you are unable to make it to the in-person auditions, please submit a video audition. This performance is set with an abridged script & smaller cast than typical of Shakespeare. As a result, there is a higher burden on actors as many will be cast in multiple roles. This particular performance will be set in early 1920s New York during Prohibition.
