Casting Girls for "Into the Woods" Show

Looking for girls ages 15 and up for the "Into the Woods" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family, and the choices we make. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. One of Sondheim's most popular works, "Into the Woods," is a musically sophisticated show with the opportunity to feature actors adept at dark comedy. Additional info: Come prepared to sing a one-minute cut of a song of your choosing, preferably not from "Into the Woods", and to read one of the attached sides. The sides do not need to be memorized. Note: Not all characters have sides provided. Choose the side you are most excited to share with the directors. You will be considered for all roles regardless of which side you read. There will be callbacks on Friday, May 30th, from 6:00-9:00 pm. These callbacks will only be for specific roles and will be by invitation. Auditioners who are asked to attend callbacks should be prepared to read from the script and perform a portion of their assigned song from Into the Woods. Music that will be assigned for callbacks is provided in advance in case anyone would like to take a look at it in preparation for their audition/callbacks. If interested, please apply.
