"Godspell" Summer Musical Seeks Kids and Teens

Casting kids and teens for the summer musical "Godspell." See full details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Tech Week (mandatory) Saturday, July 27 - Wednesday, July 30 @6 - 10 PM With an earlier call time for hair/makeup/costume Show Dates Thursday, July 31 - Saturday, August 2 @8PM With earlier call time First rehearsal will be June 14 @10AM - 1PM. As much as possible, we will develop the rehearsal schedule around the availability of those who audition. Be prepared to provide detailed information about your availability. 1. SINGING: Your choice of song, to be accompanied by piano. Singing without accompaniment is NOT preferred. Try to choose an upbeat song that highlights your vocal range. Bring a copy of the sheet music for the pianist and music/lyrics for yourself if you do not have your piece memorized. You may also be asked to sing a vocal exercise or song fragment that would be taught to all. 2. DANCING: Everyone will be taught the same simple dance routine, and then perform it in small groups. Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable closed-toe shoes. If you are interested please apply.
