Casting Kids for "Fiddler on the Roof" Show
Participants ages 8 and up are welcome to audition for the "Fiddler on the Roof" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please bring a musical theater piece prepared 32 bar cut from a traditional musical theatre song. If you do not have a piece prepared, you will be asked to vocalize to see where your range is. Please do not prepare a song from Fiddler on the Roof. Traditional Musical Theatre refers to musicals that are considered "classics," Hello, Dolly!, The Sound of Music, Singin' in the Rain, Peter Pan, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Cinderella, Into the Woods etc. Please try to avoid contemporary musical theatre as it is a completely different style of singing than that of the musicals aforementioned (i.e, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, Shrek, Hamilton, Greatest Showman, Little Mermaid, Something Rotten, Wicked, etc.) Please also come prepared to dance at auditions with appropriate clothing and footwear. Call backs will be Thursday, May 29th. Please make special note of the below rehearsal and performance locations: Rehearsals June 2-July 11: Batavia Elementary School (W7140 School Dr, Adell, WI 53001) Rehearsal July 14-July 30 and Performances July 31-August 3: Northern Ozaukee School District Fine Arts Center (401 Highland Dr, Fredonia, WI 53021) A draft of the summer rehearsal schedule can be viewed in the attachment. For returning cast members, please note the inclusion of some Friday and weekend dates. The production team may adjust this schedule to accommodate needs of the production. NEW: A mandatory information meeting kick-off (followed by an optional cast social- snacks will be provided) will be held on Friday, May 30th at 6:30pm at the Batavia Elementary School. Final details will be provided at auditions. A Copy of the Audition form can be downloaded and completed in advance, or paper copies will be available at the door. Please arrive early enough to complete your form prior to your time slot. Please pay special attention to the included conflict calendar to complete as well. If interested, please apply.

Tevye’s second daughter who becomes involved with Perchik. She eventually leaves Anatevka to join Perchik in Siberia. (singing role)
Tevye’s middle daughter who loves to read. She falls in love and runs off with Fydeka, a Russian soldier. (singing role)
Tevye’s fourth daughter who takes lessons at home from Perchik. (small singing role)
Tevye’s youngest daughter who also takes lessons at home from Perchik. (small singing role)
