Kid Actors Needed for "The Little Mermaid Jr." Show
Actors between the ages of 8-18 years old are needed for "The Little Mermaid Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. Additional info: Actors should prepare 16 bars (approx. 30-60 seconds) from a Broadway or Disney song of their choice. No accompanist will be provided, so actors are asked to submit a link with their accompaniment track prior to their audition. Singing a cappella is strongly discouraged. Auditioners will also be asked to perform a cold reading of the provided audition sides at the audition with other actors in the audition room. Audition sides do not need to be memorized and are attached. Dance Auditions: Please be prepared to attend this portion of the audition in addition to your scheduled audition time. Actors will learn a brief dance combination and perform it in groups. Please bring clothes and shoes that you can move in. Note that the participation fee will be applied.
