"Jr. Player auditions: Oz!" Show Seeks Kids and Teens

Audition for "Jr. Player auditions: Oz!". Auditions are open to all youth ages 8 - 16 years old. Please see the details below. About the project: "The timeless “Wizard of Oz” tale has been adapted into a dazzling musical. A cyclone carries Dorothy and Toto to the magical Land of Oz. When Dorothy’s house squashes the Wicked Witch of the East, she is ecstatically thanked by the liberated Munchkins and given permission to wear the witch’s powerful silver slippers. From there, Baum’s lovable characters — rubber-legged Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and Tin Woodsman — join Dorothy on a journey to meet the great Oz. While on their trek, they battle the Wicked Witch of the West, who is determined to get revenge for the death of her sister. Additional info: Auditions will consist of reading from the script and singing a song they will learn at auditions. Show dates are August 8, 9, and 10. Tech week rehearsals the week before performances are mandatory. Please bring a copy of your summer schedule including all vacations, camps, and any other activities that may conflict with rehearsals.
