Singing Audition for "Annie JR."

"Annie JR." Auditions are open for students who are 5-17 years old. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Additional info: At the auditions, participants will be taught a vocal excerpt from Annie Jr. and a short dance. After the vocal and dance portions of the audition, the participants will have the opportunity to read for different roles for the acting portion of the audition. Those auditioning are asked to wear comfortable shoes and clothing so that they can dance. NO FLIP FLOPS! Practices will take place during the week in the morning/afternoon from May 31 to July 18.
