Kid Actors Needed for "Charlotte's Web" Play
Seeking children ages 8 and up for "Charlotte's Web" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A young girl named Fern saves a runt piglet named Wilbur, only to discover he will be sent to the slaughterhouse once he grows up. Desperate to save her friend, Wilbur turns to Charlotte, a wise and caring spider, who devises a plan to make him a local celebrity. Through their unlikely friendship, they embark on a heartwarming adventure that celebrates loyalty, bravery, and the circle of life. Additional info: FOR ACTORS AGES 8-14: There are three options for monologues available when you sign up. Actors should select the monologue that they feel most connected to and come with the piece of their choice memorized. FOR ALL ACTORS OVER AGE 14: All other actors should come with a contemporary piece that does not exceed 90 seconds. Cold readings may be requested after all monologues and some direction offered. All rehearsals and performances will be held at the Elizabeth Seton Center, 1900 Pioneer Ave, Pittsburgh (Brookline), PA 15226.
